The LAMAR Institute has released its report on archaeological excavations at the Mattei Site on the May River in Beaufort County, South Carolina. The LAMAR Institute has released its report on three battlefields on Long Island, New York. The three sites–Setauket, Fort Slongo and Fort Franklin/Lloyd Neck were examined with the aid of grants from the National Park Service, American Battlefield Protection Program and the LAMAR Institute.
